IDENTIGENE Becomes First DNA Testing Lab to Promise Fast Results with a Money-Back Guarantee

IDENTIGENE, the First DNA Testing Company to Utilize Modern Technology to Perform Genetic Identity Testing, Now Offers the Industry's First Money-Back Guarantee, together with a Three-Day Turnaround on Results

HOUSTON, TX (August 28, 2007) — In response to rising demand for fast, high-quality paternity testing, IDENTIGENE, a division of Sorenson Genomics and an industry leader in DNA identification testing, today announced the launch of a new service guarantee that the company's clients will receive their paternity test results in three days, or the test is free. IDENTIGENE is the first and only DNA testing lab to offer clients a money-back guarantee on the speed of its paternity tests.

"This guarantee is a big step for IDENTIGENE and for the DNA testing industry," Michelle Council, executive director of IDENTIGENE. "This is the first time that a DNA testing lab has been willing to deliver what the client needs most: accurate results in a predictable timeframe to minimize the apprehension and anxiety that often attend paternity testing."

Most DNA testing labs provide test results in approximately five to seven business days, but there is no guarantee that their clients will receive their test results in the quoted timeframe. Under the terms of this new offer, however, IDENTIGENE not only guarantees that clients will receive their paternity test results in three business days, but also backs it up with a money-back guarantee if the results are not returned within the promised time. All IDENTIGENE direct-to-consumer paternity tests qualify for the guarantee, with the exception of prenatal paternity tests or those using other non-standard DNA samples, such as hair or bone.

The three-day test process begins when all samples, completed authorization forms and full payment are received at IDENTIGENE's DNA testing lab in Houston. All items must be received before noon Central Standard Time (CST), Monday through Friday, to begin the testing process. Once testing begins, IDENTIGENE will send clients automatic e-mail updates to keep them informed of the status of their case.

"It's important for our clients to know and understand what is going on while their test is in the lab," said Council. "Providing our clients with these automatic updates will serve to lessen the stress of their situation, while offering the industry's highest level of customer service."

When the final paternity test results are complete, IDENTIGENE's case managers call their clients and provide them with verbal results over the phone, before
12 p.m. CST on or before the third day of testing. If the client is not available by phone when IDENTIGENE calls, IDENTIGENE will leave a voicemail requesting the client return the phone call, so the results can be delivered.
